“Huh?!” Angel seemed to have discovered something, his brows knitting together suddenly.

“What have you thought of?” Gloria asked with curiosity.

Angel did not answer directly but extended his finger to touch the illusionary canvas. With the movement of his finger, a band of light appeared on the scene.

This band of light outlined the excessively vivid “Vibrant Red” in the firmament.

Once the outline was complete, Angel turned to Gloria, “What does this look like to you?”

Gloria scrutinized the area that Angel had deliberately outlined with the band of light. Two lines, not far apart, sometimes parallel, sometimes intersecting, sometimes bending, sometimes folding. It looked irregular, but vaguely, it seemed to follow some logic.

“It somewhat resembles a long-bodied creature, like a snake? No, the lines intersect, it’s not a snake,” Gloria muttered to herself. She felt it was somehow familiar, yet couldn’t quite put her finger on it.

Eventually, Gloria gave up trying to figure it out and turned her gaze to Angel. Since he had gone to the trouble of outlining it, it indicated he had a speculation.

Angel pondered for a moment: “Do you feel that it resembles some kind of fabric?”

Fabric? Gloria paused for a moment: “Do you mean, like a tailor’s work?”

Angel nodded: “It looks like a scarf fluttering in the wind…”

“Scarf.”

As Angel’s words fell, Gloria, carrying the image of a scarf in her mind, compared it to the “Vibrant Red” on the canvas. The image of the scarf slowly overlapped with the scene…

Gloria nodded in agreement, saying, “Indeed, it does somewhat resemble a scarf dancing in the breeze. The two lines represent the varying widths of the scarf, and the crossing, bending, and overlapping are indicative of the form it takes when tousled by the wind.” However, she added, “It might not necessarily be a scarf, it could also be a ribbon, streamer, or even a piece of torn fabric.”

Angel remarked, “I think it looks more like a scarf.”

Gloria, with an air of noncommittal acknowledgment, nodded, “The likelihood of it being a scarf is indeed high. So, if this were a red scarf, what would that suggest to you?”

Angel fell into a deep contemplation. He had seen many people wear scarves, and he himself had worn one as a child. Yet, in the memory box of his mind, there weren’t many individuals wearing scarves that had left a significant impression on him.

Among these people, there was one individual who stood out vividly in Angel’s memory.

And this person happened to wear a red scarf.

This individual was quite extraordinary, his abilities… at the very least, were of the legendary realm. And the red scarf he wore was his most defining hallmark, rumored to be a Mysterious Object, and furthermore, it was a Mysterious Object that was slightly out of control.

“A legendary figure? A half-out-of-control Mysterious Object?!” Gloria listened with a face full of intrigue and skepticism to Angel’s description.

“Yes, this person is known as Zorn. He is a Mysterious Hunter from the Orderly Guild. I happened to see him once at Black Castle because Frost had to undertake a mission with him,” Angel explained.

As Angel attempted to conjure the image of Zorn in his mind, it was almost a blank. The man existed in a dark void, clothed in pitch darkness, and the only memorable feature was the red scarf wrapped around him.

This red scarf covered half of Zorn’s face and was extraordinarily long, fluttering on its own even without a breeze, like a crimson serpent writhing in the void, lurking in the shadows, ever-moving and inscrutable.

“Zorn, a Mysterious Hunter surpassing legendary,” Gloria repeated several times: “This vision of the Apocalypse Heavenly Eye, I felt before that it would be difficult to achieve this extent with the human resources I know. But if it were done by a legendary wizard, then it is possible.”

If that “Vibrant Red” really is a scarf and truly belongs to Zorn, then such a vision could indeed appear.

“Can you really be certain that this is Zorn’s scarf?” Gloria asked Angel.

Angel was silent for a moment, shaking his head: “I cannot be certain, but it feels somewhat familiar.”

“Forget certainty. There’s no other possibility to speculate now anyway, just treat it as Zorn’s scarf for now.” Gloria said, “After you’ve settled on it being Zorn’s scarf, what useful information can you glean?”

“I don’t know anything about Zorn, only that he and Frost are members of the Orderly Guild, and Zorn was sent by the Orderly Guild to support Frost. Because Frost had to retrieve the Mysterious… out of control…” Angel’s voice trailed off, hesitating as if he had remembered something.

He recalled clearly that Frost had told Angel after escaping from the Ghost’s Box of Reincarnation that he had conveyed his experiences within the box to the Orderly Guild and requested support. Consequently, Zorn came.

This meant that Zorn and Frost were both involved in the retrieval of the Ghost’s Box of Reincarnation.

This matter was actually unrelated to Angel; he hadn’t paid it much mind. However, it became pertinent when Angel arrived at the Research Institute in Sky Mechanical City and found out that the Ghost’s Box of Reincarnation was likely crafted by Ivo Shpratt… Most importantly, Ivo Shpratt should be the very Alex that Angel had previously encountered in the Shadow of the Cage.

In this light, Angel indeed had some connection to the Ghost’s Box of Reincarnation.

Based on what Frost had articulated regarding the traits of the “Ghost’s Box of Reincarnation,” it is requisite to traverse through the weaves of time in more than twenty reincarnations’ worth of miniature space-times before one can emerge.

By the measure of time, Zorn and Frost should still be embroiled in their cycles of reincarnation unless fortune smiles upon them exceedingly, bestowing upon each temporal juncture an ease of passage.

Setting aside the caprice of fortune, Zorn remains within the crucible of reincarnation. Hence, it is highly plausible that this vision before us is birthed from within the very confines of the Ghost’s Box of Reincarnation?

Totoro suggested this vision is entwined with his destiny, could it imply that my path is destined to intersect with the Ghost’s Box of Reincarnation in times to come?

That possibility is inconceivable. Angel is acutely aware that he is not one to court death so frivolously.

Even Frost had barely managed to extricate himself from its clutches; it would be unthinkable for Angel to venture forth willingly.

Unless… Angel’s journey is not made in true form.

Angel recalls a past instance when he, through the peculiar properties of the “Gateway of Fantasy,” sent an illusionary aspect of himself into the diorama-like microcosm within the Ghost’s Box of Reincarnation and encountered Alex.

Under similar circumstances, Angel concedes a probability of occurrence. Yet, such chances are minuscule, for his last venture into the cage was purely accidental, a journey truncated as if he had alighted from a vehicle midway.

Upon the next culmination of the “Gateway of Fantasy’s” unique energies, it is not guaranteed that Angel will disembark prematurely again, and even if he were to do so, pinpointing the Gateway of Fantasy once more might not be a feat easily accomplished.

The likelihood is like finding a needle in the ocean, virtually impossible.

“What are you thinking about?” While Angel was lost in thought, as if his mind was wandering beyond the heavens, Gloria’s voice brought him back to reality.

“It seems like I recognize the place in the picture.”

Gloria’s eyes lit up with curiosity, and she asked, “Where is it?”

Angel shook his head, choosing not to answer.

Although Gloria didn’t get an answer, she didn’t mind; the matter didn’t concern her much. “It’s fine if you don’t say, but now that you know the place, you should try your best to avoid it. As long as you don’t go there, you should be safe.”

Angel nodded in agreement: “I understand. I have no intention of courting death.”
