Chapter 1972 Concealed Segments <TOC> Chapter 1974 Crown Star Bearer

Due to Maya’s remarks, the previously subsiding ripples in the crowd surged once more. The focus on the vision of doomsday was rekindled.
For a time, the hall was filled with a sense of dread and noisy exchanges.
Eventually, it was La Pluie who, waving his wand, cast a celestial secret spell to slowly quell the noise. However, even with forced calm, the anxiety wasn’t erased. A typically timid prophecy wizard couldn’t help but stand and respectfully inquire of La Pluie, “Lord of Crown Star, what are your thoughts on the additional information provided by Witch Maya today?”
Whereas other Observers wouldn’t entertain such questions, La Pluie seriously pondered for a moment before replying, “The truth of this matter is revealing more and more, but compared to yesterday, it appears even more mysterious. If the apocalyptic scene truly unfolds in the Southern Region, why are only apprentices present in such a perilous place? Where have the formal wizards gone? Apprentices appearing in a world of godly wars feels quite incongruous.”
La Pluie spoke slowly, seemingly thinking as he spoke, “I still believe this might not be happening in the Southern Region. This is just my intuition. However, I do acknowledge your speculations; perhaps it indeed has something to do with Sky Mechanical City, especially since these apprentices are the Supernovas identified in the Novastar Competition.”
“From the scenes displayed by Witch Maya, their strengths are all still at the apprentice stage, not much improved. Thus, the timing of this apocalyptic scene must not be far from now. And these apprentices, if nothing unusual occurs, should currently be training in the Endless Corridor.”
Although La Pluie mentioned it was intuition, an Observer’s intuition is often very accurate. So, when La Pluie speaks in such a manner, it stabilizes the people more than any celestial secret spell.
“All will be clear tomorrow, when Sky Mechanical City responds.”
With these words from La Pluie, the prophecy was set, and everyone nodded in agreement, speaking no further.
The discussion will continue, but mostly it’s the Observers speaking. Except for prophecy wizards like the type represented by Lucci, ordinary prophecy wizards rarely stand up again.
Among these prophecies, some are good, some bad, some have significant impacts, and others less so. But from everyone’s perception and experience, generally, they don’t compare to the prophecies of the Peach Heart Theater and the Vision of Doomsday.
Consequently, people have come to view Totoro, a rising star in the prophecy world, with increased regard.
However, this doesn’t mean the Observers are inferior to Totoro; more likely, they may be concealing certain critical prophecies. These prophecies won’t be disclosed during the public meetings but will be revealed privately to those who need to know.
Certainly, this revelation isn’t without cost.
This is not uncommon; all prophecy wizards are well aware, but it’s not discussed openly.
Among the prophecies disclosed by the Observers, many are actually not significantly tied to the interests of the Savage Grottoes and don’t need much attention. Only two prophecies are worth the attention of Witch Maya.
The first is about the future trends of the Abyss. The one who shared this prophecy is “The Unbridled Dreamer” Dexter, who said: “A new safe zone is about to emerge in the Abyss.”
This prophecy is of primary concern to large wizard organizations. After all, only a few large alliances led by the Frost Moon Alliance are currently extending their hands into the Abyss, establishing and maintaining safe markets.
The resources of the Abyss are incredibly rich. Securing a safe zone can immensely boost a wizard organization.
Witch Maya represents the will of the Savage Grottoes, and she is well aware that Rhine is actually very regretful that the Savage Grottoes didn’t secure a position in the Abyss. Therefore, this prophecy is also a kind of hope for the Savage Grottoes.
The second prophecy that caught Maya’s attention is related to the Ancient Guman Kingdom on the western fringes of the Vast Continent. A significant upheaval is expected to occur in the Guman Kingdom in the near future.
The prophecy made by the Observer, Heidler, didn’t specify what the drastic change was, but he cryptically mentioned, “Those mad with suppressed oppression will eventually be devoured by their own deeds.”
This prophecy may indicate the future direction of the Guman Kingdom.
Maya paid attention to this prophecy simply because of another disciple of hers——White Bear, who came from the Guman Kingdom and was a victim of its oppression. Thus, she kept an extra eye on this prophecy.
Beyond these two prophecies, the rest were generally listened to and forgotten, not leaving much of an impression in Maya’s mind.
As time changed, the exchange meeting continued from morning until the sunset began to rise.
When today’s exchange was about to end, La Pluie, who had not made any prophecies throughout, finally spoke. Amidst the anticipation, he indeed did not disappoint.
At least, Maya was not disappointed.
La Pluie’s first prophecy was about the changes in the Eternal Night Kingdom.
The drastic changes in the Eternal Night Kingdom were a concern for the entire Wizarding World. However, since it hadn’t spread to their doorstep, their level of concern was not sufficient, despite understanding the terror of the changes in the Eternal Night Kingdom.
It was the matter with Peach Heart Theater that made everyone focus on the Eternal Night Kingdom.
They all hoped to secure a seat in the Peach Heart Theater, where at that time, they perceived the danger of the theater to be not as significant, while the terrifying creatures of the Eternal Night Kingdom became the more threatening aspect to them.
Therefore, La Pluie’s prophecy received widespread attention.
La Pluie’s words were straightforward; he didn’t use flowery language to embellish but spoke directly.
“I have once said that the upheaval in the Eternal Night Kingdom might be more terrifying than the Shadow of the Demon God. Even now, I still believe so,” La Pluie said solemnly. “In the future I’ve seen, after a period of lurking, those dangerous beings have solidified and greatly increased their strength. In the near future, they will rapidly expand to the surrounding areas.”
“The Fertile Country and Guman Kingdom will suffer. The future I’ve seen does not show what will happen to the Guman Kingdom; perhaps the huge change mentioned by Hydra is caused by this. But I have seen the future of the Fertile Country…”
La Pluie turned to a young man in a yellow robe: “Prepare to relocate from Western Demos.”
The young man in the yellow robe, from the Fertile Country, Western Demos. He suddenly looked up and said, “Your Excellency Lord of Crown Star, do you mean…”
Although he didn’t finish his sentence, La Pluie understood what he meant and nodded: “From Western Demos, prepare in advance for the escape route.”
As his words fell, everyone looked at the young man in yellow with sympathy. But in their hearts, they were also uneasy. Including Western Demos, the upheaval in the Eternal Night Kingdom had already caused at least three medium-sized wizard organizations to forcibly relocate.
In other words, those terrifying creatures are expanding their territory, eroding the land of the Southern Region like insidious parasites. And it seems there is no way to stop them!
