Sanders was taken aback for a moment, not immediately grasping Frost’s intent.

Without further elaboration, Frost cast a glance at Angel, who was still lost in his own thoughts, then reached out towards the sky.

Beneath Sanders’ puzzled gaze, the tip of Frost’s finger danced in the air, producing a pinpoint of light.

A few luminous particles emanated from his fingertips.

A flash of surprise appeared in Sanders’ eyes. These small glowing particles seemed inconspicuous, with no discernible energy signature. However, Sanders clearly observed the intricate and stable energy structure within these glowing particles… flawless, captivating, and brimming with an air of mystique.

This was an energy characteristic utterly different from Sanders’. Though he could still discern elements of a wizard’s system, it surpassed his realm of comprehension.

It was a matter of different levels.

Such was the power of Frost, to which Sanders felt he could no longer hold a candle.

In his heart, other than astonishment, there was profound admiration.

In addition, Sanders was curious about the intent behind these luminous particles that Frost had released.

Seeming to discern the questions in Sanders’ eyes, a refined and courteous voice emanated from behind Frost’s mask, “Are you not curious about the phenomenon from Spell Creation? Soon, you will see.”

With those words, the glowing particles began to ascend slowly, as if being lifted by an upward draft, rapidly heading for loftier heights.

At Frost’s cue, Sanders’ gaze was fixed intently upon the ascending glowing particles.

Above the dome of the ethereal sky, on the Sky Ghost Ship sailing the heavens, people were still fervently discussing Angel’s power and the peculiar changes of the newly formed omen signs. Only Isabelle noticed those few shimmering particles.

At first, she merely noticed the glowing particles because they were released by Frost. As such, her attention was drawn towards them. However, as they began to rise, a chill ran down Isabelle’s spine. The Sky Ghost Ship was directly above their trajectory. Was Frost planning to target them?

With heightened vigilance, Isabelle observed that the glowing particles serenely passed through the dome. Before they could touch the Sky Ghost Ship, they deftly maneuvered around it and continued to ascend.

Relieved to see the light particles causing no harm to the Sky Ghost Ship, Isabelle relaxed. But her curiosity was piqued; she pondered about the true purpose of these glowing particles…

Soon, the glowing particles reached the higher altitudes. As they reached their zenith, they flashed brilliantly a few times before vanishing without a trace.

Simultaneously, expressions of astonishment appeared on the faces of both Isabelle and Sanders.

In the next moment, as if they had coordinated beforehand, they simultaneously opened a rift into the void. Both Isabelle and Sanders’ figures vanished instantly.

Within the void corresponding to the Middle World.

Both Sanders and Isabelle emerged from the rift.

In the normally chaotic and dark void, suddenly there were these illuminating particles. Upon closer inspection, these glowing particles were indeed the ones that disappeared in the higher altitudes earlier.

As the particles appeared within the void, they suddenly radiated an unprecedented brilliance.

Even the inky void was momentarily illuminated, casting a beacon of light across its vast expanse.

When light shone upon the emptiness, both Sanders and Isabelle were utterly astounded by the scene unfolding before them.

What they had believed to be dispersed Visions of Spell Creation had not vanished at all. Instead, they manifested in the void, creating an astonishing spectacle——

Gateways!

Countless gateways!

Leaning, upright, long, short, wide, tall, intricate, simple… Various kinds of gateways appeared out of thin air in the void. They were densely packed, reminiscent of a——

Graveyard of Gates!

“Is this the vanished Vision?” Isabelle whispered, her expression somewhat dazed.

On the other hand, Sanders murmured, “It seems it truly never disappeared.”

Then, emerging from behind the two, Frost appeared out of nowhere. He walked on the void as if treading on solid ground, moving gracefully towards them.

Stopping beside Sanders, Frost looked at the world of gateways before them, his eyes filled with admiration.

“It’s a truly marvelous Vision,” Frost said, turning to Sanders, “This is the answer you sought.”

After a brief pause, Frost continued, “This Vision, it’s quite peculiar. Don’t you think its emergence was abrupt?”

Sanders grasped the implication behind Frost’s words.

Just like an enthralling tale, it couldn’t reach its climax straight away; there needs to be a buildup or what’s commonly termed as a preamble. Moreover, even if the climax is presented directly, without understanding the context or the backstory, one wouldn’t be truly immersed.

Frost wanted to emphasize that this particular Vision was not complete.

Isabelle had a moment of realization as well, wondering why, despite recognizing it as a Spell Creation Vision, something still felt off. The reason was precisely this.

This Vision appeared without any precedent, like a sequel without any introduction to its prior story, creating a jarring Continuation of the Story.

“This is the first time I’ve encountered such a scenario,” Frost remarked. “However, to my knowledge, similar instances have occurred before, particularly in the Source World.”

Frost then provided an example from the Source World.

In ancient times, an exceptionally gifted wizard created a spell named ‘Black Light Spell’, which triggered a powerful Spell Creation Vision. Years later, he created another Spell Called the ‘Black Radiance Spell’, instigating yet another Vision that seemed to emerge halfway through its story.

Later, as he explained, the ‘Black Radiance Spell’ was derived from the ‘Black Light Spell’.

Of course, the effects of the two spells were distinctly different. Otherwise, they wouldn’t have triggered such Visions.

In essence, it was about multiple developments of the same spell model.

Or one might say, it’s about delving deeper into the model of a spell one has created.

The initial spell model already sparked one Spell Creation Vision. However, as a wizard delves deeper and further develops this spell model, they could uncover entirely new effects, leading to a second Spell Creation Vision.

Since they belong to the same spell system, this Vision feels like two volumes of the same novel, creating a sense of continuity.

Only those who have experienced the first Vision would not find the second one jarring when they encounter it.

After Frost finished speaking, he looked at Sanders and mused, “Judging from this perspective, hasn’t Angel undergone a similar Spell Creation process before?”

Sanders didn’t respond immediately, but on the side, Isabelle’s face revealed her surprise.

If Angel truly did have a history of Spell Creation… Could it be that he began  creating spells even when he was just an apprentice?

If that’s the case, Angel’s potential is truly staggering.

Sanders remained silent, and Frost did not press further. Instead, he turned his attention to the seemingly endless gateways.

“The Visions during Spell Creation are intricately linked to the nature of the spell itself. All these gateways suggest that Angel’s spell might be related to gateways,” Frost deduced.

No sooner had Frost finished speaking than a light of realization flashed in Isabelle’s mind.

Not long ago, Angel had encountered Princess Guman, also known as Mandara, in the Corpse Forest. Due to the imminent explosion of several enormous ghosts in the forest, Angel had teleported out to alert Isabelle and others to assist Sanders in the Corpse Forest.

Isabelle vividly recalled that when Angel teleported, he used a peculiar gateway as his power.

Because the situation was dire at the time, Isabelle didn’t investigate immediately. Now, connecting the dots, it seemed probable that Angel had indeed created a spell before, and the manifestation of that spell was that very gateway.

Isabelle’s changed expression did not escape the notice of Sanders and Frost.

With a sigh, Sanders conceded, “Yes, Angel did experience a Vision of Spell Creation not too long ago. And the spell he created then was indeed related to a gateway.”

Isabelle had her suspicions, but the moment she received confirmation from Sanders, she was taken aback.

Angel actually engaged in Spell Creation during his apprenticeship.

It’s hard to believe!

Frost and Isabelle had different concerns. What Frost was most focused on was the “temporal node” of Angel’s first Spell Creation.

“Not long ago?” For those with a long lifespan, this phrase signifies a broad time frame. For example, even if it was a hundred years ago, Frost could refer to it as ‘not long ago.’

But considering Angel’s situation, it might truly mean ‘not long ago’ in its literal sense.

With this in mind, Frost remembered something.

Before he went in search of the “Ghost’s Box of Reincarnation,” he had sensed a Spell Creation phenomenon in the Southern Region.

The magnitude of that Spell Creation phenomenon wasn’t significant, usually not warranting his attention. However, he was drawn to it at that time due to an unusual circumstance that emerged.

The primary will descended.
