After exiting Illusory City, Trom lay for a long time on Cassone’s soft fur, communicating about the future through mental waves.

Hearing that Trom planned to leave the Abyss, Cassone seemed somewhat saddened, letting out a soft whimper.

To console Cassone, Trom said, “I’m going on a quest to challenge the goal I hold deep within my heart. Once I triumph, I will return immediately.”

Trom talked for a long while, but eventually, the time to say goodbye arrived.

He mounted a flying carpet woven from fur shed by Cassone and slowly positioned himself directly in front of the creature. Leaning close to Cassone’s forehead, he softly said, “Wait for me.”

Cassone lifted its head slightly in acknowledgement.

With a wave to Cassone, Trom ascended into the sky on his snowy white flying carpet——

The location of Sky Island was situated above the Thousand Falls region. Even though Trom had visited this place many times before, he was still in awe upon his return.

The marvel was not the Sky Island itself, but the numerous waterfalls suspended in the air around it. These waterfalls originated from the waters below. What astounded Trom was that these waterfalls were defying gravity, flowing upwards, connecting to Sky Island above like guardian water dragons encircling a celestial palace.

As Trom ascended along these reverse-flowing waterfalls, he allowed his youthful exuberance to guide him, playfully weaving through the cascading waters.

By the time he reached Sky Island, apart from his signature antlered hat, he was almost completely drenched.

Trom dismounted from the flying carpet and his form shifted dramatically. He transformed from a human into a small white moose. Shaking his wet fur as if in a tumble dryer, once it dried, Trom morphed back into his human form.

Feeling a wave of freshness wash over him, Trom wore a smile at the corner of his mouth, lifting his gaze toward the distant and indistinct cluster of buildings.

The task ahead was simple: find Lady Sineva, deliver the message to her, and then he could return to the Southern Region.

Embraced by these pleasant thoughts, Trom flew toward the center of Sky Island.

Upon discovering Sineva’s whereabouts, he found out that she was in the central tower of Sky Island, engaged in a meeting with Lord Mengke, according to the island’s guards.

Trom had no choice but to wait outside.

However, his wait was short-lived. Within minutes, he received permission from the guards, saying that Sineva had invited him in.

This puzzled Trom; he didn’t recall seeing any guard go inside to convey the message. Moreover, he had already braced himself for the next step of seeking out Sineva — why was he suddenly allowed in?

As Trom pondered, he was led into the grand hall of the central tower.

Entering this magnificent hall filled with intricate runes of power, Trom felt a surge of nervousness. The hall was crowded with people — some seated, others standing, some even levitating in mid-air or perched on elevated pillars… All of them were formal wizards. In the center of the hall, not only did he spot Sineva, but also a few wizards surrounding her, including Lord Mengke!

Trom swallowed hard, not daring to utter a word, as he was escorted in front of Sineva under the piercing gazes of everyone present.

Although there was no palpable aura of intimidation, the eyes of the assembled wizards — especially Lord Mengke’s — had him feeling jittery and anxious.

Finding himself in such an environment for the first time, Trom wasn’t sure whether to speak up now or wait for Sineva to question him.

As his unease grew, the image of Angel kept surfacing in his thoughts.

Facing such a scenario, he finds his legs trembling. Angel, back in La Sutherland, not only faced countless terrifying demons alone but also disrupted the entire situation when humans waged war against demons.

His composure pales in comparison.

While lost in thought, Sineva finally speaks, but not to him: “What’s the reason for bringing this young one here? It’s your turn to talk.”

A deep male voice responds, “Simply an omen of intuition.”

Stealing a glance, he noticed that the one who replied is a man with twelve round clocks floating around him. He has youthful features and baby-soft skin, yet his eyes seem to have seen the world’s wear and tear, and his hair is as dry as weeds. Youth and age blend harmoniously in him.

Although it’s his first time meeting this man, he’s no stranger to his identity. Especially those twelve round clocks, they confirm his judgment.

“Pendulum Clock,” Lucci—A prophecy wizard who worships the Wheel of Time.

“Omen of intuition? What do you mean?” Sineva frowns, directing her gaze at Lucci. Everyone else also turns their eyes on him, including Mengke, who is wearing a silver mask.

“Why not ask this young man about his purpose instead?” Lucci, avoiding a direct answer, throws the burden of reply back into his lap.

When Sineva’s gaze shifts to him, his hands tremble slightly as he nervously reveals his identity.

“Oh? You’re the apprentice of Witch Sudar.” The crowd looks at him with eyes filled with both sympathy and pity. To have a mentor notorious for her cruel sense of humor — how this young man hasn’t been ruined is beyond comprehension.

Sineva also nods, “So it’s you. Queenie mentioned you to me; I heard you’ve formed a symbiotic contract with Cassone?”

Trom nodded a bit awkwardly.

“You’re aware of the significance of Cassone to the Frost Moon Alliance,” Sineva began with a compliment, “With it as a symbiotic partner, it won’t be long before you become a key force within the Frost Moon Alliance. I heard you were looking for me?”

Hurriedly, Trom took off his antler hat, revealing a head of short, emerald-green hair. The antler hat was not just decorative for Trom; it also functioned as a small spatial pouch.

He rummaged around in the hat for quite some time before finally locating the magical letter his mentor had given him. He handed it over to Sineva with both hands.

Once all of this was done, Trom quietly stood to one side.

Sineva proceeded to decrypt the magical letter and started reading. As she read, her brows furrowed more and more, leaving her eyes filled with perplexity by the end.

Sineva paused for a moment, then picked up the envelope she’d set aside earlier. With a tap of her index finger on it, a thick magazine fell out.

Trom hadn’t expected a magazine to be hidden in the envelope. Curiously, he glanced at the cover — it seemed to feature Angel?

The magazine’s title: —Sky of Truth—?

Sineva quickly flipped through the magazine. After finishing, she handed both the letter and the magazine to Mengke under everyone’s puzzled gaze.

With a quick scan, Mengke grasped the contents fully.

“Oh? Is the information here confirmed to be true?” Mengke’s voice had a tinge of peculiarity.

Sineva shook her head: “It’s likely just a rumor. But perhaps Queenie brought this news to us for verification.”

Mengke pondered for a moment, then handed both the letter and the magazine to Lucci, entrusting him to use the power of divination to discern the veracity of the contents in the letter.

After reading both the letter and the magazine, Lucci’s expression quickly turned odd: “How could this happen so fast…”

Mumbling this, Lucci immediately closed his eyes. As the energy emanated from him, the twelve pendulum clocks suspended around him began to rotate. Diverse wheels of time accelerated the flow of moments.

When an illusory eye materialized behind Lucci, he extended his slender, pale finger and lightly tapped one of the pendulum clocks in front of him.

The clock shuddered violently and shattered.

Frowning, Lucci thought, “The divination failed…” He contemplated for a moment, picked up the magazine again to flip through it, and seemed to think of something. He then picked up another pendulum clock and conducted a new round of divination, which did not fail this time.

“What’s the result?” Sineva asked impatiently.

Rubbing his temples, Lucci responded, “I can’t directly divine whether he has advanced in rank or not. The item on him that blocks divination is as strong as ever.”

“However, there is another way. According to what’s recorded in the magazine, he triggered a Spell Vision when he broke through. If his aim is indeed to walk that path, then this Vision should still exist. Therefore, I performed a retrospective divination on the Visions in the Fairytale World.”

Most people didn’t know what had happened, but it didn’t stop them from listening intently. Even Trom, who was curious, listened; when he saw Angel in his mentor’s crystal ball and noticed that Angel was also on the magazine cover, he had a premonition that the contents of the letter his mentor asked him to pass on might be related to Angel.

Taking a moment, Lucci spoke solemnly, “Indeed, the magazine’s account is accurate. According to the timeline of the Southern Region, just a few days ago, a Spell Vision was born in the Inner World of the Fairytale World. It hasn’t even disappeared yet.”

Visions that are not alchemical ones and are extremely rare in the Wizarding World.

If the Spell Creation Vision is real, then the content recorded in the magazine is highly likely to be true as well.

“So you’re saying Angel has actually become a formal wizard?” Sineva asked in disbelief.

Everyone finally understood upon hearing this. So the letter was talking about Angel’s breakthrough… Angel’s breakthrough?! They initially grasped the idea, but upon further reflection, they realized something was off.

Lately, they had been worn out worrying about Angel. Today’s gathering was also because of him… Lord Mengke just returned from Ice Valley and confirmed that Angel was telling the truth.

Because of this, they knew Angel all too well!

A guy who has been on the path of wizardry for less than ten years and hasn’t even reached twenty has already become a formal wizard?!

This news was absolutely astonishing!

At this moment, in response to Sineva, Luci dropped another bombshell: “That seems to be the case. And it’s very likely that he’s not just a formal wizard. According to the Spell Creation Vision, he has already glimpsed the path to true knowledge…”

The wizards were stunned once again. They had previously thought Angel’s promotion might be a fluke, possibly aided by external forces at the expense of his own potential. But now they were told that not only did Angel progress, but he has also set foot on the path to true knowledge. Their speculations were shattered once more.

Everyone’s expressions were odd. Someone whom they had previously called ‘kid’ or ‘lucky little guy’ had now become a wizard, even surpassing the majority of those present.

This was a lot for them to mentally process at once.

However, what was even more unbearable was the mental state of Trom.

Angel, formal wizard, path to true knowledge. These terms reverberated continuously in Trom’s mind. His expression shifted from shock, to despair, to gloom…

He now understood why his mentor had made that agreement with him.

Defeating Angel within three years? I’m afraid even thirty years wouldn’t be enough!

Trom’s eyes were filled with tears of deception from Queenie; he was completely oblivious to what was happening around him. By the time he regained his composure, only he and Sineva remained on the scene.

Sineva had already learned of Trom’s agreement with Queenie and looked at him with pitying eyes. “According to your mentor’s wishes, you are now to be sent to the Southern Region.”

Knowing that Angel had become An Unattainable Goal, Trom had no interest in going to the Southern Region at this time, but he also had no right to refuse.

“I’m also planning to make a trip to the Southern Region, so this time, let me take you there,” Sineva said to Trom, her gaze unintentionally drifting to the cover of the magazine in her hand.

On the cover, Angel was sporting a faint smile.
