The front main district of Sky Mechanical City is now open to the public and serves as a hub for trade in the Southern Region.

The flip side of Sky Mechanical City, although not entirely closed off to outsiders, isn’t much different from standard wizard organizations.

The city also offers a Mission Hall, Mechanical Library, Research Institute… and more. Moreover, there’s a Comprehensive College here that welcomes external students, named Achillea.

Angel is currently at Achillea Comprehensive College. He’ll soon be teaching here, so he came today primarily to complete some basic registration and get a feel for the environment.

After a preliminary exploration of Achillea, Angel gained a deeper understanding of this Comprehensive College.

Though labeled a “comprehensive” College, alchemy is the principal subject taught here. Yet, as previously mentioned by Midora, specialized courses like those taught by the Mushroom Witch on mushroom handling are also available.

Of course, the Mushroom Witch and her courses are in the minority.

The institution is called a “comprehensive” College because it was founded by Achillea, its first principal and former head of the Research Institute, with the vision of becoming a multifaceted educational institution.

However, due to the predominance of alchemy in Sky Mechanical City, it has essentially become an alchemy-focused College.

After delving deeper, Angel feels that rebranding it as an Alchemy College wouldn’t be a bad idea. Given that alchemy reigns supreme here and the term “comprehensive” is too broad, the College’s name might not fully encapsulate its core focus.

For instance, when one thinks of a gourmet wizard, the Candy House comes to mind; when one thinks of an ocean wizard, “Song of the Deep Sea” is the instinctive association.

Sky Mechanical City has become a desired destination for alchemists not just because of its Research Institute, but also due to the existence of Achillea College.

While Achillea Comprehensive College may give the impression of vast inclusivity, it doesn’t necessarily equate to quality.

For that reason, although Achillea wears the label of a ‘Comprehensive’ College, the wizard community in the Southern Region still predominantly considers it an institution for alchemy.

Although located in Sky Mechanical City, Achillea College doesn’t bar alchemists from other wizard organizations from furthering their studies here. Angel has seen many alchemists here, half of whom actually belong to other wizard organizations.

Alchemists not from Sky Mechanical City who come for advanced studies have to sign certain special agreements. These agreements don’t infringe upon your personal freedom but do include non-disclosure clauses and the cost of tuition… Generally, the payment isn’t in magic crystals but involves accepting alchemy-related tasks during your time here.

However, there is an exception for alchemists who are members of the Research Institute within their wizard organizations — they can study here without such agreements.

In other words, Angel’s membership in the Research Institute is mutually beneficial, particularly for alchemists from the Savage Grottoes.

As for why Achillea College has set up such regulations, Angel hasn’t delved deep but suspects it’s about networking advantages and creating a sense of belonging.

Thanks to guidance from Antonio, Angel quickly completes preparations for his lecture. The current Vice Dean of Achillea, Sherry, is delighted and excited about Angel’s impending class.

After all, Angel, as a new member of the Research Institute, has a mysterious yet burgeoning reputation.

Teaching here would undoubtedly attract the attention of the wider alchemy community.

Regarding the content of Angel’s first lecture, although he could let his creativity run wild, he opts for something more conventional within his area of expertise — enchantment.

As for which specific type of enchantment he would cover, Angel hasn’t yet divulged.

To avoid overlapping classes with Water Ripple Witch, Angel, on the advice of his College’s Vice Dean, chose to start his course a week later.

After completing all the necessary registrations, Angel left Achillea Comprehensive College.

Three days passed in the blink of an eye.

During these three days, Angel spent most of his time handling matters related to transformation spells, occasionally visiting the Bliss Pavilion.

On the day of Nausica’s promotion match, despite the event being prolonged, she didn’t sustain significant injuries — only her mechanical arm was damaged. Nausica initially thought she might have to fight single-handedly in the upcoming rounds, but Angel’s return meant her mechanical arm was effortlessly repaired.

As for Angel’s advancement, Nausica seemed a bit surprised but was considerably more composed than Shalem.

Nausica simply expressed, “I knew you would step into the wizard realm ahead of us, but I didn’t expect it to happen this quickly.”

Nausica congratulated Angel on his achievement while also raising her own standards.

Or perhaps, due to Angel’s advancement, both Nausica and Shalem felt a sense of urgency, accelerating their own training.

In a way, this also served as a form of unconventional motivation.

When Angel officially makes his debut in the Novastar Competition, this sense of urgency will likely extend beyond just Nausica and Shalem. All their peers, even those who were once stronger than Angel but remain apprentices, will likely redouble their efforts.

Both Nausica and Shalem have already secured their Novastar qualifications; the remaining are Coral, Hilary, and David.

With only three days left until the preliminary round of the Novastar Competition ends, Coral has been quite anxious lately. She has lost several matches, moving her further away from the 30th floor. She has not reached the 30th floor yet, so her score remains unactivated. Even if she manages to reach floor 30 in these three days, accumulating 100 points will be quite challenging. She’d need to fight more than 10 matches a day and maintain a win rate of at least 80%.

So, Coral basically has no chance anymore.

However, Hilary still has an opportunity; she currently has 68 points, which isn’t far from 100.

Moreover, Hilary herself mentioned that she would begin using potions to suppress her drowsiness in the upcoming competitions.

Most of Hilary’s losses were due to her overwhelming sleepiness. If she manages to control her sleepiness during the competition, her chances of advancing should be significantly higher.

David also has a high likelihood of advancing. According to Hilary, David should be able to reach 100 points within the next two days.

As long as he passes the promotion round, he can also obtain the Novastar qualification.

Aside from caring for his friends, Angel is also concerned about his brother Leon’s competitions.

In the past three days, Leon has only fought two battles. The experience he has gained is likely the most substantial, but unfortunately, he lost both battles.

Leon has set a goal for himself: Before the Novastar Competition resumes, he aims to reach the second floor of Sky Tower.

For this purpose, once Nausica’s mechanical arm was repaired, she subjected Leon to rigorous training.

Leon is harsh on himself as well. Even after his daytime training, he heads to Initial Heart City at night to practice with Knight Sabel. Although the training in the Wilderness of Dreams doesn’t quickly translate into muscle strength, it does enhance his combat experience and understanding of techniques.

On this day, after spending the entire day researching the application of auxiliary materials needed for transformation spells, Angel had planned to take a brief rest and ponder the content for his upcoming lectures.

However, before he could settle down to contemplate, a message from Sanders reached his ears.

The content of the message was straightforward: Visitors have arrived from the Savage Grottoes.

Angel paused for a moment, set down the card in hand, and walked out of the room.

As he entered the hall, he was immediately met with multiple pairs of eyes looking at him — eyes filled with curiosity, admiration, as well as skepticism and inquiry.

Angel scanned the room with a quick glance.

Just as Sanders had said, they were all people from the Savage Grottoes, and among them were faces Angel was very familiar with.

For instance, leaning by the window and deeply engrossed in conversation with Gloria — who was basking in the sun outside — was the witch known as——”Rose Crown,” Liana.

With Liana’s arrival, it was only natural that David would be there too. However, he was outside the hall, and he peeked his freckled face through the curtain to make a goofy face at Angel.
