Upon learning that the prophecy wizard had located Silkvine’s position and had already dispatched a rescue team, Helen’s eyes brimmed with fervor.

According to Angel, if Silkvine could be successfully rescued, she would return to the Red Sunflower Lane as her first priority.

Bearing this hopeful vision in mind, after profusely thanking Angel multiple times, Little Six assisted the eager Helen, guiding her toward the direction of Red Sunflower Lane.

After Helen and Little Six departed, Angel also turned to leave.

Though his physical form strode along the desolate streets bathed in moonlight, his thoughts had already soared to the ethereal void.

He pondered whether Lord Rosen would be able to find Silkvine in the void this time? And what about the followers of the Bud? If found, how would Lord Rosen handle them? Would he choose to eradicate them without a second thought or issue an edict to exile them?

Regardless of the outcome, Angel earnestly hoped to swiftly resolve the matter concerning the Bud. At present, the Southern Region seemed to be gradually improving: the Demon God disaster was resolved, and the Novastar Competition had unveiled a plethora of rising stars, with various prodigies emerging. However, this was merely a superficial recovery, as numerous lurking perils still remained in the shadows.

If the situation with the Bud was added to the equation, even the most promising circumstances could be jeopardized.

Therefore, Angel was keenly looking forward to a flawless outcome from this covert assault that couldn’t be publicized.

Not long into his walk, Angel arrived at the Benz’s Modified Weir.

Due to the terrifying aura that had manifested during the day, many streets in Sky Mechanical City had become rather deserted. However, Benz’s Modified Weir was an exception. The place was still bustling, bathed in bright lights and throngs of people.

The reason behind this street’s thriving scene——

Angel lifted his gaze, looking towards a towering tree in the distance that reached several dozen meters high. However, the focal point wasn’t the tree itself, but the grand multi-story building that was constructed around its trunk, branches, and leaves.

Even from a distance, without approaching this “treehouse”, Angel could faintly detect the rich scent of Salomon fragrance.

This place was known as the Bliss Pavilion.

A venue specifically designed to provide “pleasures” for wizards. Here, the term “pleasure” wasn’t limited to its literal delightful connotation; it also embodied darkness, twistedness, perversion, and even the meanings of bloodshed and death.

Because of these hidden connotations, a vast number of wizards, both male and female, visited the Bliss Pavilion.

Angel wasn’t particularly interested in the Bliss Pavilion. The main reason he came to this street after leaving Infinite Battle Tower, instead of immediately returning to his manor, was to purchase some food items. For instance, dried small fish… something he had previously promised to Toby.

Owing to the existence of the Bliss Pavilion, its radiating influence had gradually transformed Benz’s Modified Weir into an entertainment consumption district.

Apart from the Bliss Pavilion, which catered to carnal desires, there were numerous other entertainment and shopping spots, like clothing stores, bars, bookstores, snack shops… and even a grand theater. However, it seemed this theater hadn’t staged a performance in a while. Angel heard that the higher-ups in Sky Mechanical City were considering converting it into an arena.

After wandering for a bit, Angel spotted a small shop named the “Magic Food Workshop.” This store not only sold extraordinary ingredients but also offered semi-finished products made by gourmet apprentices.

Dried fish made from some extraordinary fish species was among their offerings.

Before long, Angel emerged from the Magic Food Workshop. Although he appeared empty-handed, Toby, perched on his shoulder, shifted from a droopy demeanor to one filled with pride and vigor. It was evident that Toby’s haul from the visit was quite substantial.

Having purchased the dried small fish, Angel continued to stroll around Benz’s Modified Weir with Toby.

Soon enough, Toby’s Snowy Feather was packed with various delicacies, along with a massive collection of unique fabrics and silks. Meanwhile, Angel made purchases from some bookstores, acquiring magazines that recorded the secretive tales of wizards.

By the time they had finished their stroll, Angel was ready to leave with Toby.

The streets were bustling with people. From the moment Angel had entered this street, he had activated the aura of Boundless Silence to minimize his presence. Not wanting to draw attention by taking to the skies directly amidst the crowd, he intended to first leave the bustling area and find a secluded spot before taking flight.

However, at that moment, Angel ran into someone.

A young man leaning on a wooden cane was emerging from the grand entrance of the Bliss Pavilion.

It was none other than Apulia, whom Angel had encountered in Rosen’s metallic hall not too long ago. It appeared that as soon as Apulia left Infinite Battle Tower, he had come straight to the Bliss Pavilion.

Upon seeing Angel, Apulia expressed a hint of surprise. Clearing his throat ceremoniously, he commented, “I wasn’t expecting to run into the Super Dimensional Wizard here. Did you also come to the Bliss Pavilion?”

Angel replied, “I was just passing by.”

“I was too. Just popped in for a look.”

Angel did not respond verbally. However, just by the rich fragrance emanating from Apulia, he could deduce that it wasn’t a mere… passing by and looking around.

Regardless, it had nothing to do with him. Thus, with a nonchalant nod, he prepared to leave.

Apulia, not wanting to engage in a profound conversation at the entrance of the Bliss Pavilion, also made ready to leave.

Coincidentally, they both turned in the same direction. Feeling awkward about changing his path now, Apulia decided to walk alongside Angel for a short distance.

Along the way, the duo engaged in some light, inconsequential conversation.

Soon, they arrived near a plaza.

In this plaza, situated right in front of the grand theater, it appears to serve as a buffer zone. Perhaps, due to the grand theater not having been in operation for quite a long time, this buffering plaza now gives the vibe of a hodgepodge gathering area. Not only are people convening here for leisure, but many have also set up small stalls, selling various items, many of which seem superfluous.

Angel intended to make his way from the right side of the plaza, taking a detour through an alley to the main street, while Apulia planned to depart from the plaza’s left side.

Just as they were about to go their separate ways, the tinkling sound of a bell emanated from not too far off.

Glancing back, they saw a man dressed as a circus clown, approaching them while shaking a bell.

When the clownish fellow reached their vicinity, he cheerfully handed over a leaflet to both Angel and Apulia, and in a strained voice announced, “You’re cordially invited to come and enjoy the performance at the grand theater.”

Having said that, the clown then proceeded to the other side, distributing Flyers to others.

Grand theater? A performance? Angel arched an eyebrow, deducing that this clown was promoting the grand theater’s play through the distribution of these leaflets.

While Angel wasn’t particularly intrigued by the idea of a performance at the grand theater, he was momentarily stunned when he looked at the flyer in his hand.

On the leaflet was a portrait he recognized all too well.

Apulia also took note of the person depicted on the flyer and remarked with a hint of surprise, “Isn’t she the disciple of the Water Ripple Witch? She’s rented out the grand theater for a performance? I recall her name is…”

“Shirley,” Angel murmured softly.

The leaflet showcased a half-length portrait of Shirley. She was seen donned in magician attire, with the shadow of her magician hat partially obscuring her face, lending her an air of mystique. Simultaneously, both of Shirley’s hands were raised… one held a magician’s black wand, while the other splayed out five playing cards in a straight flush.

Beneath the portrait, words were inscribed: “Welcome to the Magic Show.”
