After Angel arranged for Totoro to be sent away by Wimbledon, he also returned to his own room.

At the door of his room, Angel saw Butler Goode holding a tray with breakfast.

“I’ll skip breakfast, I need peace and quiet…” Angel’s words halted midway as a faint scent wafted into his nostrils. The aroma wasn’t particularly fragrant, yet strangely, it seemed to alleviate the tightness in his body and mind.

“The breakfast was prepared by Sir Azaz,” Butler Goode said, “Lady Barbie mentioned that the cost of their stay on Phantom Island could be offset by the meals prepared by Sir Azaz. Young master, would you like to dine?”

Angel fell silent for a moment, but eventually, the call of good food overcame his restraint, and he mumbled vaguely, “Bring it in.”

After opening the door, Butler Goode followed in and placed the food from the tray onto the table. Having prepared everything for the meal, Butler Goode was about to leave, planning to return later to clear the tableware.

At this moment, Angel stopped him: “Butler Goode, I will need to rest for the next few days. Unless it’s urgent, please do not disturb me.”

Goode nodded, “Very well.”

“By the way, I’m a bit curious, how did you recognize me in this form so easily? Did Gloria tell you?”

“Lady Barbie didn’t say anything,” Goode replied, “Has the young master forgotten the mechanisms of Phantom Island? The young master has the second-highest authority on Phantom Island. When the young master returned, the island had already notified all the shadows under its command.”

Angel was momentarily taken aback, not expecting the answer to involve permission related to Phantom Island.

Though being recognized was reasonable, it also equaled the exposure of his identity. Angel touched his cheek, realizing that hiding his identity with shape-shifting required careful consideration of many aspects. Otherwise, it was very likely that some small detail would betray him.

Angel sighed, understanding that the pride he felt from deceiving a few people needed to be reined in.

After the meal, Butler Goode came in to clear the dishes. Once Goode left, Angel was alone in the room again.

Sitting at his desk in contemplation, Angel then snapped his fingers lightly.

Before him appeared an illusion made up of countless colors.

The scene displayed within the Illusion Canvas was what Totoro had seen before——a land marred by wounds, a sky stained with blood, and an overseeing Eye in the Heavens.

This scene, which Angel referred to as —Apocalypse Heavenly Eye—, had been reconstructed by Angel.

Earlier, Totoro had asked him, “Aren’t you worried?”

Angel had appeared calm, even comforting Totoro in return, seemingly indifferent.

But deep down, his true feelings were not as unruffled as he had shown; he too was somewhat concerned.

The future is not immutable, but how to change it was something Angel did not know. He did not even know where the place in the scene was or what connection it had to him.

It is the unknown that is truly frightening.

Angel silently observed the scene, while several books on the desk regarding the geography of the Vast Continent began to flip through rapidly. Angel tried to confirm the location in the scene by comparing it with the content of these books.

However, it was to no avail. Hours later, Angel closed the books in resignation, having found no useful information.

“It seems that I need to consult a professional,” Angel thought.

Considering the next step, Angel took out a magical bloodstone from the bracelet. This was a low-grade magical bloodstone with many inferior impurities. Angel did not disturb the essence of the stone, instead, separated these impurities.

Then, Angel manipulated a Magic Hand to burn these impurities with a mundane fire. Before long, several transparent glass beads were refined out.

These glass beads were mundane, but with Angel’s alchemical blessing, they gained a slight transcendent characteristic. Angel directly infused the scene from the —Apocalypse Heavenly Eye— into the beads using an illusion node spell.

Once the illusion merged, the glass beads exhibited a multicolored phantasmal light.

“This work is complete.” Just a small input of energy would allow the glass beads to display the scene from the —Apocalypse Heavenly Eye—.

Angel spread out the beads in hand, and after ensuring they were correct, casually took out three, lips moving slightly as if whispering a message. Once the whispering ended, Angel threw the glass beads straight into the void.

The Three Glass Beads flew out of the window like they had grown wings, enveloped in a faint glow, scattering in different directions.

The nearest bead fell right in front of a magical cottage near the central lake on Phantom Island.

Gloria opened the window, reached out her hand slightly, and the pale blue glass bead was caught in her palm.

Two glazed beads, one landed in the hands of Tree Spirit basking outside the Tree Spirit Great Hall; the other, unbeknownst to an apprentice’s waist pouch, who happened to be on his way to the Paramjit Plateau. After he stepped out of the Mirror World, the bead flew from the apprentice’s pouch and, before the apprentice realized, headed toward the Puppet Hospital in Windmill Town. Eventually, the bead ended up in the hands of Sanders.

Gloria, Tree Spirit, and Sanders were the ones Angel sought help from.

Not long after the bead took flight, Tree Spirit was the first to respond. However, Tree Spirit’s message was brief, simply stating: “I do not know, shall I pass it on to others to inquire?”

Angel did not have Tree Spirit disseminate the bead further; although he was indeed eager to know the situation depicted, it wasn’t to the extent of broadcasting widely.

Sanders was the second to reply, with an even more succinct: “I don’t know.”

On the contrary, Gloria, who was closest to Angel, did not reply at all.

Angel’s eyes lit up; Gloria’s lack of response, could it mean she had some clue? Gloria, who perennially drifted around the world through the Barbie Restaurant and even opened her establishment in other worlds, might indeed know something!

Filled with anticipation, Angel waited, and after an hour, Gloria finally replied.

Instead of using a voice message, Gloria came directly to his room.

Upon hearing the first words from Gloria, Angel fell silent.

“I was bathing in the spa of the Dream Twins illusionary realm before and didn’t get to see it,” Gloria paused: “I also do not know where the scene in this scene is.”

After Gloria spoke, seeing Angel silent, she curiously asked, “What does this scene signify?”

For Gloria, Angel had nothing to hide; he simply relayed Totoro’s words once more.

After listening to Angel, Gloria looked at him with some sympathy, “On this scene, it seems that a formidable transcendent life has emerged, with the earth cracking open and ravines proliferating; it doesn’t seem like something easily dealt with.”

Gloria’s tone of pity and sympathy was not lost on Angel. However, Angel’s situation was not as dire as Gloria imagined, since this scene represented just one of countless future possibilities, who knows if it would actually come to pass.

Gloria said, “I don’t know the exact location in the scene, but I’ve discovered a few somewhat concealed clues within it, which may be of use to you.”
