As they were speaking, at the end of the corridor, a figure entirely clad in knight armor abruptly appeared. His emergence was bizarre, as if he flowed out from the wall itself. Only when he stood firmly in the corridor did he transform from a fluid into a tangible person.

Baruba instinctively stepped forward, eyeing this peculiar man with suspicion: “Who are you?”

“There’s no need for alarm. Allow me to introduce myself; I am Sharu, a knight serving Master Tyson and a demon hunter from the Sin Hunter Team,” Sharu said, performing a knightly salute. “Master Tyson has sent me to escort you to meet Mr. Jon.”

“Master Tyson? Do you mean Freud Tyson?” Baruba murmured softly.

“I don’t know who you are, but directly addressing Master Tyson by name is not considered polite behavior in Initial Heart City. I hope this will be the only time,” Sharu replied coolly. Then, turning, he said, “Follow me. Mr. Jon is likely giving a piano lesson at Ocean Theatre; we should find him there.”

Watching Sharu’s retreating figure, Kudou whispered, “Could he be trouble? His entrance was quite eerie.”

“This is the core of Initial Heart City, likely the place with the strongest security. There shouldn’t be any issues,” Babaya responded, then took the lead to follow.

The group followed Sharu out of Azure Tower and along the main street towards Ocean Theatre. Along the way, Babaya attempted to strike up a conversation with Sharu, not so much to probe the secrets of the place but out of pure curiosity about his abilities and the so-called Sin Hunter Team.

However, no matter what Babaya asked, Sharu deftly avoided giving direct answers. His slippery rhetoric was not something a simple Kulakuka tribe member could compare with.

At last, Babaya didn’t glean any useful information; she could only retreat helplessly beside Kudou.

“Babaya, have you noticed the plants here are somewhat peculiar?” Kudou whispered closely to Babaya, “Though they seem to thrive well, they appear newly grown with very shallow signs of time cycles.”

Kudou, with just a small absorption of virtual magic and being a nature apprentice, needed only a hint of magic to notice the anomalies in the surrounding flora.

Babaya, despite being from the bloodline branch focusing on plants, was actually not less sensitive to plants than Kudou. Upon his mention, she scrutinized the roadside vegetation and indeed sensed an abnormal vigor, untouched by the struggles of growth.

“I even saw someone dismantling a tree earlier, only to realize it was a stone-carved tree,” Kudou massaged his temple, “This city feels very strange to me.”

Babaya internally agreed, but as she delved deeper into her thoughts, Freud’s words flashed in her mind: “Is uncovering the truth here more important to you than the task the lord have entrusted you with?”

Babaya closed her eyes, suppressing the restless monkey in her heart: “Yes, it’s a bit strange, but perhaps it’s just the local custom here.”

A custom of predominantly new plants? Kudou was filled with question marks.

However, since Babaya had said so, Kudou decided not to pursue the matter further: “Aside from a few oddities, the residents here… are like those in other places.”

As Kudou spoke, he glanced around. Many people were stealthily observing them, or more precisely, both Kudou and Babaya.

Some even called friends over for a closer look.

After all, a person as small as a palm was indeed a rare sight.

“I find myself yearning to fuse with the bloodline of a forest giant, or it would be nice to master shape-shifting spells,” Kudou said helplessly, holding his forehead. “Only by becoming ‘big’ might I avoid the fate of being the center of attention whenever I go out.”

“We’re almost there; that building over there is Ocean Theatre. Once we’re inside, you won’t be surrounded by onlookers anymore,” Sharu said cheerfully. “Don’t mind them, it’s just that everyone is seeing such a small person for the first time. There’s no malice, just curiosity, which everyone has. It’ll pass in a few days, just like a few days ago when everyone saw…”

Sharu suddenly stopped.

“Saw what for the first time?” Kudou asked curiously.

“Nothing, if you’re curious, you can find out for yourselves. I’d rather not say,” Sharu said, though the matter of the Dream Plant Fairy wasn’t a secret. He didn’t know if he should tell them and chose to keep silent. If they had the means, they could find out for themselves.

After about five more minutes, Sharu stopped at the entrance of Ocean Theatre.

Before even entering, they could hear the melodious sound of a piano.

“I won’t accompany you inside. Mr. Jon is currently playing the piano. You can wait in the audience seats for a while. After he’s finished, you can go find him.”

After saying this, Sharu prepared to leave.

However, at that moment, a dark shadow suddenly fell from the sky. Sharu reacted quickly, instantly jumping away.

Turning back to check on Kudou and the others, he found that Kudou and Babaya had reacted even faster than him. Somehow, despite their small size, they had used some skill to leap onto the head of a four-meter-tall sea lion statue. Baruba had no reaction, as he had been hanging back and wasn’t in the range of the shadow.

After confirming everyone was safe, Sharu then turned to look at the ground beneath the descending shadow…

The marble floor, cracked open, was weeping and wailing.

Sharu sighed in resignation, “Another repair to report… How many is it now? Dozens? Hundreds? Master Tyson will surely be cross.”

Upon hearing “Master Tyson,” the shadow flinched involuntarily but quickly dismissed it, fixing his gaze on Sharu, “Enough diversions, I’ve finally caught you today. To honor my aesthetic of battle, I must fight you!”

With that, the shadow lifted his slightly askew bullhorn helmet, revealing a face distinctly more delicate than his imposing stature.

“Sheriff Tulas, I’m currently at work,” Sharu said with a deep sense of resignation.

“Who cares if you’re working or not, we’ll talk after the fight.” With those words, Tulas darted forward like an arrow toward Sharu.

In just a few minutes, Tulas and Sharu exchanged hundreds of blows.

The tumult was immense, the floor constantly upheaved, with the onlooking city guard showing faces of distress.

Meanwhile, hundreds of meters away at the top of the Treehouse Bar.

Angel, who was conversing with Sanders, suddenly looked towards the direction of Ocean Theatre.

“What’s up?” Sanders asked, taking a sip from his glass filled with crimson liquid.

“Nothing much, Tulas and Sharu have started fighting,” Angel sighed.

Sanders showed little reaction, deeming the event trivial and unworthy of attention.

“Let’s not bother with them,” Angel shook his head, redirecting his gaze to Sanders, “Although I possess the Power Tree, I admittedly lack Mentor’s profound understanding of energy restriction. Mentor, do you think constructing a high-magic area is feasible?”
