In the external world, Florence, who had been nonchalantly perched atop the back of Brigitte, abruptly altered his expression upon hearing Leviathan’s furious roar. As the owner of the oceanic lines, he didn’t need to specifically decipher the language of sea creatures. He was capable of sensing the frequency of many sea creature’s sounds and comprehending their meanings. Leviathan was one of them.

The recent furious roar of the Leviathan was a clear sign that it had detected something amiss inside the gate. It was raging at some “creature” or even some “person” inside!

Based on his previous understanding of Leviathan’s communication, Florence conjectured that Leviathan was blaming the “anomaly” inside for forcing it into the role of a watchdog.

But… how could there possibly be a creature, or a human presence inside?!

Given that the gate was still in Leviathan’s imaginary consciousness and had not yet manifested in the human world, how could a creature have possibly entered it?!

“Perhaps a descendant of some creature left over from when the mysterious space was first born? Or maybe… a ghost?” Florence speculated to himself.

Still, his mind was ill at ease. If there truly was an uncontrolled “person” appearing inside, wouldn’t all their efforts be for naught?

Just as Florence was riddled with uncertainty, the already furious Leviathan suddenly roared again. This roar was even more frenzied than before! Moreover, it carried an unmistakable undertone of regret and anger.

Florence decoded the meaning of Leviathan’s roar… The “someone” inside the gate had successfully escaped.

Furthermore, one phrase was clearly expressed in Leviathan’s voice: “Damned human!”

Now, Florence finally understood. It wasn’t the ghost he had speculated about. The “internal threat” that Sirius had previously mentioned had truly emerged. The one who had angered Leviathan was indeed a human!

A human who had somehow snuck inside.

Were they to return from the Devil’s Sea empty-handed, just like the planar fusion three years ago?

“You better not touch that object, or no matter who you are, or where you are, I will find you!” Florence clenched his fist and vehemently slammed it into the sea.

A giant wave, hundreds of meters high, was instantly whipped up.

Florence wasn’t the only one who noticed Leviathan’s abnormal behavior. All the wizards present who could decipher beast speech understood Leviathan’s thoughts. However, they were clueless about the meaning of the words.

Only the people of Summer Dew Peak abruptly changed their expressions.

Lady Pei, who had been fanning herself, closed her fan and turned to the Summer Dew Witch next to her, “Mistress, from what Leviathan is implying, it seems that there has been an unexpected occurrence inside the gate. A human has appeared?”

Summer Dew, who had been propping her chin with both hands, half-lidded her eyes. The playful expression was gone, replaced with a somewhat gloomy look.

Peering at the silent Summer Dew, Lady Pei’s perpetually impassive countenance finally betrayed a hint of anxiety, “Mistress, could it possibly be a human who inadvertently ventured in?”

The Devil’s Sea territory is notorious for its unstable dimensions, occasionally birthing spatial rifts. Three years ago, due to excessive spatial chaos, it nearly merged with an alternate plane.

Thus, the occasional emergence of a rift leading to a mysterious space does not seem improbable.

“It should not be…” Summer Dew Witch paused in contemplation, “From the Leviathan’s expressions, the human seemed to have escaped its lock-on. By this measure, he is undoubtedly a transcendental being. It seems that the individual either possesses a strength that is mysteriously profound, or has mastered an ingress and egress route into the mysterious space that none of us are aware of.”

Lady Pei knitted her brows slightly, “Mistress, which possibility do you believe it is?”

“Given that this mysterious space did not form naturally but was forcibly adjusted by that object, this space cannot be locked onto with a planar beacon. To pinpoint and traverse into this mysterious space, one would require at least the strength of a legend…” Summer Dew Witch paused, “What do you think, would a legendary being, confronted with the intimidation of the Leviathan, remain inert or even retreat and flee?”

“The only other possibility then,” Lady Pei’s body erupted with a chilling aura, “A mortal would not possess the ability to traverse the mysterious space. Thus, there’s only the second possibility: someone already entered and plucked the peach?”

“Pluck a peach?” Summer Dew Witch suddenly broke into a sharp, grating laughter, her expression unfathomable, “Firstly, one would need to know that there is a peach inside. Secondly, they would need the power to protect it. A person who chose to run in the face of the Leviathan’s imposing presence, certainly lacks the ability to pluck the peach.”

Summer Dew Witch exhibited no disappointment. Rather, she seemed excited as she said to Lady Pei, “Get ready. If we can’t sense that object inside later, have Raven contact Ivan.”

Lady Pei nodded and immediately dispatched a message to the black pigeon, relaying Summer Dew Witch’s orders.

After Lady Pei had done all of this, a faint smile played at her lips, “In fact, if the peach was plucked, it would be for the best. We had planned to compete with Florence for it, and even with our hidden strength, it would still have been quite challenging. But now, with the help of Lord Ivan, our success is assured.”

Ivan, known as the “Wanderer of Balance,” is one of the eighteen observers of the Crown Star Church and among them, the prophecy wizard most adept and committed to the path of balance.

Compared to the prophecy wizard of the Song of the Deep Sea—Tuvallu, Ivan is decidedly more formidable.

Elsewhere, Merayesha, who was seated in a dugout canoe, also noticed the shift in the atmosphere between Summer Dew Witch and the Song of the Deep Sea. As an earlier wizard, he was aware that the Silver Palm Island had significant connections with these two.

Their moods had shifted, and considering the meaning of the Leviathan’s roar that he had deciphered earlier, a thought arose in his mind, “Could it be that someone has entered through the door in advance and acquired that strategic-level Mysterious Object?”

If that were indeed the case, their efforts would have been in vain… A change swept over Merayesha’s face. After all, it was he who had arranged for the rumors to spread about the various opportunities to be found here. If these people discovered they had been duped and traced the origin of the rumors, he would undoubtedly be exposed.

Should things really come to that point, given his prowess and status, he might not face any significant troubles, however… The resources he requested from Lord Rosen might be off the table.

Merayesha shuddered at the thought, hoping it wouldn’t come to that…

Yet, the very things you least desire have a habit of arriving when your nerves are at their rawest.

With Angel’s successful escape, the Leviathan felt a stark challenge to its authority. Its previously tempered movements became frenzied again.

Striving with all its might to tear open the gate, it sought to rush into that mysterious space, locate the destination of the spatial passage.

As the Leviathan raged, the tranquil sea roared back into fury.

Black clouds churned, lightning danced wildly, and wave after monstrous wave reached for the sky. Wizards who had been hiding in the cloud cover had no choice but to expose their hiding places.

However, though the Leviathan noticed these people, it did not concern itself with them. These beings were extraordinary, but the Leviathan was confident that with their abilities, they stood no chance of breaching its scales.

The most pressing matter now was to track down that detestable human!

Under the Leviathan’s relentless assault, the gate finally yielded completely! Simultaneously, the state of the gate fell from an abstract sense of existence into harsh reality.

Air from the outer world, sea waves, all sorts of microorganisms practically flooded into the gate.

Had Angel been present on the island, the sight would have been of the heavens opening, with seawater pouring from the sky, washing over this desolate world like a cataclysmic tidal wave!

At the moment the gate opened, the Leviathan squeezed through the slit, burrowing into the space within.

After the Leviathan entered the mysterious space, the wizards exchanged glances. Almost simultaneously, they activated their defenses and flowed into the emerging unknown space in sync with the undercurrents.

In fact, the first to enter was not the Leviathan, but Florence who had morphed into an ocean current and had been swept in the moment the gate opened.

Upon entering, he immediately extended his senses in all directions. With his true knowledge ability as a wizard, covering this not-so-large space wasn’t challenging.

Yet the feedback from his senses was a bold-faced “nothing.”

There was nothing here, no energy, no life, not even any traces detectable for the moment.

Florence’s countenance turned grim, he was unable to sense the aura of the Mysterious Object, it might very well have been spirited away by someone.

Moreover, as the seawater gushed in, everything within the space shifted, the land was scoured anew by the sea. It was virtually impossible to trace the remnants of that person in such an environment.

However, Florence was not disheartened, just as Summer Dew had said, even if the Mysterious Object was indeed snatched away, they could retrieve it through various means.

Florence immediately utilized the frequency of the sea to send a message to Sirius outside, requesting him to contact Tuvallu promptly to track the latest news of the Mysterious Object.

As for himself, he quietly morphed into the lines of the ocean, following behind the Leviathan.

He knew, the Leviathan barging into this space in such haste, its first action would undoubtedly be to approach the location where that person disappeared. He was indeed curious, how did that person vanish from this space, and where did they head to?

Florence speculated there might be a spatial passage unknown to them, discovered by the rat hiding in the dark, enabling the escape at the last moment. As long as he could find where the spatial passage leads to promptly, it would make investigation or prophecy much more convenient.

Following the figure of the Leviathan, Florence arrived at the cliff being submerged by the seawater from the outside.

The Leviathan’s body was too large, it didn’t know the shrinking spell, even though it knew where the cave entrance was, it could only destroy from the outside to get into the teleportation circle inside the cave.

Florence, however, was different. Following the gentle waves of the sea and through the information from the ocean currents, he found the hidden cave first.

When he flowed into the cave interior with the water, he faintly sensed the fluctuations of spatial energy.

However, the spatial energy was almost completely dissipated now, to locate the other party through the spatial energy was virtually impossible.

Even so, while he couldn’t track the direction of the spatial energy, Florence noticed the barren wall.

After a brief inspection, he immediately understood the manifestation of the magic energy formation.

Directly observing the magic energy formation with his soul, Florence’s eyes lit up. As long as he gave energy to the magic energy formation, he could be teleported to the other side through it.

Realizing this, Florence without hesitation placed a magic crystal on it.

However, after a while, though the magic energy formation glowed briefly, the next second, the luminous rune suddenly scattered. This magic energy formation disintegrated into ash.

Florence’s expression darkened, “They’ve destroyed the teleportation formation on the other side so quickly, and even this formation has been affected.”

Without a doubt, the adversary was a wizard adept in Rune Literature!
