When Angel arrived at the orphanage, he was unexpectedly met with the sight of the illusion game within springing into action.

“Could there be another talented one attempting a trial?” Angel mused, his eyebrows arching in curiosity.

Upon entering the orphanage, screams echoed from the vicinity of the main building, causing Angel to take notice. Upon investigating, he discovered a ten-person squad situated within a blood-stained, chaotic room. They were seemingly engaged in the act of terrifying themselves.

The illusionary creatures crafted by Angel had not yet been put into action, and Sunny was at that moment nestled against Freud in the basement, cooing sweetly. Therefore, these cries of terror were purely self-induced.

The shrillness of the screams wrinkled the brows of the grey-haired woman seated across from Freud.

“Such mental fortitude… how disgraceful,” she said, looking at Freud. “I fear we’ve given you quite the spectacle.”

Freud appeared indifferent, but a hint of surprise flashed across his eyes, “These newcomers, still viewing the world from a mortal’s perspective, it’s natural for them to feel fear. Give them a couple of days, and they will undergo their transformation… The black-haired boy, however, seems to be handling himself quite well.”

“He’s a lad I brought from a prison. Reportedly, he witnessed the demise of his family at the hands of treacherous courtiers and was subsequently thrown into prison, so he’s somewhat more mature than those from peaceful households. Still, he’s only slightly better, as his calves are trembling as well, suggesting his heart isn’t completely at ease,” the grey-haired woman sighed resignedly after peering through the wall.

“No worries. Transitioning from the ivory tower always requires an adjustment period,” Freud replied, for him, no matter how great the hardship one had endured, without stepping into the ruthless world of wizards, it was all just an ivory tower.

Simultaneously, Freud gently patted Sunny’s back, “It’s your turn now, remember to be mindful of your limits.”

Reluctantly, Sunny nodded, hopped down from Freud’s embrace, and dragging her massive scythe, she slowly headed towards the outside of the basement.

“I hope so, I brought them here on my own accord, I hope I haven’t imposed on you?”

Freud shook his head, “No, not at all.”

The grey-haired woman smiled. Just as she was about to find another topic to continue their conversation, Freud’s body stiffened, “I apologize, someone is looking for me. I must go attend to them.”

Upon finishing his sentence, Freud disappeared.

The grey-haired woman didn’t seem concerned. Instead, she took out a wine glass, poured herself a sea-blue drink, and mumbled in a voice only she could hear, “He’s come to the town of Borel again?”

Upon hearing this, Angel sank into contemplation.

From Midnight’s words, it was clear that the current state of the Abyss was stable, and Sanders had not returned to the Savage Grottoes.

This meant that consulting Sanders about the issues related to the Wilderness of Dreams was not an option. Even bringing Jon back to the Savage Grottoes for Sanders to treat didn’t seem feasible at the moment.

Angel lost himself in thought, while Midnight scrutinized him. “I heard you’ve crafted a high-rank alchemical masterpiece. Any plans to sell?” she asked.

Angel looked up at her, deeply considering her for a moment before responding, “No plans for that just yet.”

Midnight shrugged. “That’s a shame.”

She didn’t dwell on the topic, maintaining a casual demeanor throughout that left Angel unable to decipher her true intentions.

After that, Midnight brought up some hot topics from the Feran Continent.

Through her, Angel understood why even Freud knew he had crafted a high-rank alchemical masterpiece. Apparently, images of his alchemical process had been leaked and reached the Feran Continent, sparking a wave of discussion.

However, Angel was sure that the merfolk who had been there during his alchemy session wouldn’t have recorded anything. They were ordinary creatures, and regardless of whether they had the means to record, they certainly couldn’t cause a stir in the transcendent world.

Therefore, there must have been another transcendent present at the time, one who had captured the scene.

A name surfaced in Angel’s mind. He had felt a faint energy fluctuation from the bottom of the sea during his alchemy session. Considering Jiebo’s subsequent appearance, Angel was almost certain that the recording was likely made by Jiebo.

Before Angel could voice his thoughts, Midnight bluntly confirmed it. “That recording was indeed made by Jiebo. I’m not sure what he was thinking at the time, but I did hear a bit about why it created such an uproar later.”

She recounted Jiebo’s thought process. In short, Jiebo wanted to buy the high-rank alchemical masterpiece but didn’t want to admit he had been stalking Angel. He figured he could stir the pot and release the recording, so when everyone knew about it, his purchasing it wouldn’t seem so suspicious.

“However, it’s clear that his plan failed,” Midnight said with a smile, referring to the previous incident where Jiebo and Sirius tried to force Angel to give up the Mysterious Object, resulting in a farcical outcome.

Because of that incident, Jiebo’s stalking of Angel was exposed. His attempts to divert attention had essentially failed.

In a display of remarkable candor, Midnight freely acknowledged these matters, leaving Angel somewhat at a loss for an appropriate response.

Angel found himself puzzled as to what the crux of Midnight’s words might be.

“You’re sharing all of this so that I stop pursuing Jiebo?” he questioned.

Addressing Angel’s confusion, Midnight responded with a chuckle, “I didn’t anticipate running into you here. My intention in revealing these details is to inform you of Jiebo’s extraordinary interest in the high-rank crafting piece you hold. If you’re indeed considering selling it, you could demand a high price.”

Leaving the orphanage, Angel remained unsure of Midnight’s intentions.

However, her forthright acknowledgment of her previous error, coupled with the revelation of Jiebo’s objectives, somehow made it difficult for him to criticize Jiebo’s actions… Could that have been her objective?

Presenting a friendly demeanor, perhaps she hoped to continue their dialogue?

Angel pursed his lips, irrespective of his thoughts on Jiebo’s actions, he had no intention of pursuing further talks with Jiebo.

Three days later, Midnight left the orphanage with a group of talented.

When Midnight left, she paid a visit to Angel. Her visit had nothing to do with Jiebo; instead, she wanted to discuss the Illusion realm of the orphanage.

She believed that this Illusion provided the talented with a sense of transformation and found it quite impressive, expressing her desire for a long-term collaboration in the future.

Angel suggested she negotiate with Freud directly. Since he left the Illusion here, he had naturally handed over all authority to Freud.

Without any further comments, Midnight bid him farewell and departed.

Later, Angel learned that Freud indeed managed to negotiate a long-term contract with Midnight. For each day of trial, five magic crystals would be given as compensation.

For Angel, this price was rather low. But considering it was a long-term contract and Freud, currently in a soul state, had no other means of earning, getting some magic crystals deposited into his account from time to time wasn’t too bad.

Three days later, Angel frequently entered the dream of the small building during this period.

With the increasing frequency of his visits, Angel could clearly perceive the increasingly dense aura of the Nightmare Plane surrounding the small building, spreading to farther places with the wind.

The Wilderness of Dreams, a unique Nightmare Domain, was increasingly convincing to Angel.

That day, the background calculation of the holographic tablet finally ceased. The coordinates information of all points of Dream Initiation in the Universal Axis was finally computed.
