Aware that Eliza and Suis were siblings, Angel felt no astonishment seeing the Scarlet Sovereignty he had once crafted held in Suis’ hand.

However, the mere recollection of Eliza’s expression at that time made him grind his teeth in frustration. To Angel, this was a dark chapter in his history, one that had left him gasping for breath in exasperation.

Suis continued, “Indeed, Eliza did not deceive me.”

At this point, Eureka leaned in closer, scrutinizing the Scarlet Sovereignty. “Is this the counterfeit etched with the magic formation you were talking about?”

Suis nodded in confirmation.

From its outward appearance, it indeed resembles the original very closely.” Eureka, possessing the authentic piece, had the most authority to make such a comparison, “But, does the magic formation on it really match that of the Scarlet Sovereignty?”

Pointing towards Angel, Suis replied, “That’s a question for him.”

After a moment’s silence, Angel finally spoke, “If the design that Lady Scarlet Ghost gave me was authentic, then the magic formation etched upon it is indeed Bloodline Tracing.”

“Whether it’s Bloodline Tracing or not, we will know if we directly compare it with the original.” Suis glanced at Eureka, signaling her to present the genuine Scarlet Sovereignty.

Without any hesitation, Eureka pulled out the Scarlet Sovereignty and offered it to Angel.

However, Angel did not accept it, his expression hesitant. He had known for quite some time since returning to the Pat Manor that Eureka might possess the Scarlet Sovereignty, but he never said a word, nor did he try to probe or ask about it. Long before, both Sanders and Gloria had warned him not to get involved in this matter.

Angel himself had no intention of getting involved, so when Eureka offered him the Scarlet Sovereignty, he was truly reluctant to accept it.

“What’s wrong?” Suis raised an eyebrow.

“Lord Suis, what do you intend by involving me in this?” Angel inquired, “I made it clear when I handed over the counterfeit Scarlet Sovereignty to Lady Scarlet Ghost last time that once I had given you the counterfeit, any subsequent matters would have nothing to do with me, and I would not be responsible for them.”

Looking intently at Angel, Suis replied, “I know what you’re worried about, and I have no intention of dragging you into this vortex. I brought you into this Exile Space merely to ask you a question.”

“What question?”

Suis took the genuine Scarlet Sovereignty from Eureka’s hand. The majestic crown sparkled with an enigmatic hue, momentarily bewitching even Suis, despite having seen it countless times.

Struggling to pull his gaze away from the captivating Scarlet Sovereignty, Suis addressed Angel, “Before I pose my question, I need to confirm whether the magic formation on the Scarlet Sovereignty is indeed Bloodline Tracing?”

Angel glanced at the authentic Scarlet Sovereignty, having once crafted an almost identical counterfeit, he had to admit, this genuine artifact was indeed more dazzling.

“Yes, the magic formation is indeed the Bloodline Tracing,” Angel affirmed after a cursory glance.

“Indeed it’s Bloodline Tracing?” After mulling for a moment, Suis asked, “Knowing that the Scarlet Sovereignty has the Bloodline Tracing magic formation, could we directly erase its bloodline connection?”

The magic formation of Bloodline Tracing allows a bloodline connection to an object, enabling its precise location to be sensed regardless of where it may be. King Guman’s ability to accurately locate Eureka every time was due to Bloodline Tracing.

Hence, Suis sought Angel primarily to ascertain whether the bloodline connection on the magic formation could be erased.

Noting Angel’s continued silence, Suis asked, somewhat disappointed, “So it can’t be done?”

Rather than providing a direct answer, Angel asked, “Has Lord Suis heard of the Profound Lord?”

Suis nodded, “The Profound Lord, of course, an unparalleled great demon of the abyss. Why do you bring him up all of a sudden?”

“Since the Lord has heard of the Profound Lord, you should be familiar with his creation, the Blood Soul Sacrifice, right?”

Blood Soul Sacrifice involves linking a sacrificial object with one’s own bloodline. From that point forward, the object can be moved at will, the effect greatly enhanced, and it cannot be taken by others. It is essentially an advanced version of a “Contract Rune.”

“I’m aware,” Suis was certainly aware of Blood Soul Sacrifice. He also knew the drawback of using it; those who utilized the Blood Soul Sacrifice were practically declaring themselves to the Profound Lord. While he may ignore you at a low level, once you grow, you should be wary.

“Bloodline Tracing actually also possesses the function of Blood Soul Sacrifice.” Angel paused, “Meaning, once an object has Bloodline Tracing inscribed on it, it’s equivalent to being bound to it. Unless the person dies, it’s almost impossible to erase the bloodline connection.”

Suis furrowed his brows. If it were as Angel said, then this path was indeed a dead-end. However, it wasn’t entirely without a solution.

A light shined in Suis’s head.

Before this, he and his sister Eliza had speculated that if it was indeed a case of Bloodline Tracing, King Guman, given his character, would never intertwine his essence blood with it. This is because the loss of essence blood would be a tremendous blow to King Guman, even an irreplaceable loss.

The magic formation of Bloodline Tracing gradually fell into obscurity, known only to a few people up until now, primarily due to the necessity of one’s essence blood.

If it isn’t King Guman’s essence blood, then wouldn’t everything be resolved as long as they find the owner of the essence blood on the Scarlet Sovereignty and kill them?

Upon reaching this realization, Suis hastily inquired, “If we were to kill the owner of the essence blood, could the Scarlet Sovereignty acknowledge a new master?”

“Should the owner of the essence blood in the Bloodline Tracing be killed, the Bloodline Tracing would self-destruct immediately,” Angel paused. “The power of self-destruction is immense, however, it’s hard to say whether the Scarlet Sovereignty, being a Mysterious Object, would be destroyed as a result.”

Suis felt somewhat disheartened, not anticipating the Bloodline Tracing to have such a domineering effect.

At this moment, Eureka suddenly proposed, “Actually, we don’t need to kill the owner of the essence blood. As long as we find them, then take them away to craft a living puppet, wouldn’t it be the same?”

Eureka’s words ignited a spark in Suis’s eyes, leading him to question Angel further, “Could we use the essence blood on the Bloodline Tracing to locate the owner of that essence blood?”

Angel left the living room with a gloomy expression.

Despite Suis repeatedly asserting that he would not let Angel be drawn into this maelstrom, the reality was that Angel was already stuck in this quagmire from the moment he started explaining the effects of Bloodline Tracing – it was merely a matter of how deeply he was enmeshed.

Luckily, his current involvement wasn’t too deep, and he still had a chance to withdraw as long as he refrained from further meddling.

Angel initially planned to visit Jon in the Ice Chamber, but the plethora of troubling incidents that day had left him feeling rather perturbed. He didn’t want to meet Jon with such a mindset.

After some thought, Angel decided to return to his own room.

Having cast a Dream Initiation spell on himself, Angel found himself within the Wilderness of Dreams.

Upon entering the Wilderness of Dreams, Angel immediately heard a clamor of voices. Looking up, he realized that he had appeared at the entrance of the Treehouse Bar, in a small circular plaza.

Not too far off, Daluke, who had been drawn into the Wilderness of Dreams by Angel at noon, found himself besieged by a cluster of children. They were tugging at him, insistent that he join in a game of hide-and-seek called “Scarecrow and the Black Crow.”

Amongst these youngsters, Angel spotted Alda, a boy with a face as ferocious as a tiger cub.

At this moment, Sunny chose to sit atop the roof of the Treehouse Bar, casting disdainful glances at the game players below.

There were others scattered around the square, mostly engaged in animated conversation, their curiosity about the surrounding environment and architecture apparent in their frequent, searching glances.

The arrival of Angel was first noticed by a boy with a sunny smile. Sitting on the balcony of the clock tower, he called out to Angel, “You’re new here too, right?”

“New?”

The boy pointed at Daluke, donned as the ‘Scarecrow’, and said, “Look at that goofy scarecrow; he’s a recent arrival too. I told him not to engage with those little brats, but he wouldn’t listen. And now, see? He’s been roped into being a prop.”

The boy continued talking, adopting an air of an old hand at this, and only after a long spiel did he remember to introduce himself, “I’m Labu, and the naughty kid with the red tie over there playing the game is my younger brother, Lado. We both contracted a strange plague. We were doomed, or so we thought, but were brought into a new world by the benevolent old man Tyson.”

A new world? Angel stroked his chin thoughtfully. To this group of people, calling the Wilderness of Dreams a new world was indeed not an exaggeration.

“What about you? What’s your affliction?” Labu asked curiously.

Angel did not reply. Instead, his gaze slowly shifted to see Freud sprinting towards him. Everyone he passed on the way showed him respect with a courteous bow.

Even Labu, who jumped down from the balcony, bowed his head to Freud.

Freud simply waved his hand, signaling for the surrounding crowd to disperse, before respectfully addressing Angel, “Lord, you have arrived.”

Lord? Labu looked up in confusion, only to find the youth he had seen before moving farther and farther away from the gentle Lord Tyson in his mind.

“Who…is he? Why would Lord Tyson address him so respectfully?” Labu muttered in bewilderment.

“Hmph, you were just referring to him as the newcomer, weren’t you? Feeling foolish now?” Sunny appeared by Labu’s side at some point, flicking her dainty and fair foot, her voice dripping with mockery.

Labu didn’t mind, after all, from his perspective, Sunny was just a child. Being an “adult”, he saw no need to squabble with a child.

“So, do you know who he is?” Labu asked curiously.

Sunny pursed her lips, “You’re always talking about a new world, a new world. Well, using your words, he’s the true master of this new world.”

Although Sunny typically teased Angel, she knew that without him, she might have ended up as a ghost and Freud might never have been able to return home. Hence, in Angel’s absence, Sunny was willing to speak a few words in his favor.

Hearing Sunny’s words, Labu repeated dazedly, “The master of the new world…”
